The pictures on this page are courtesy of Mr. Garry Geist. Mr. Geist kept a picture album as the facility was constructed. It is thanks to him that we are able to view these images and remember the hard-work and dedication needed for this project. This project took place at the same time B-W constructed Finnie Stadium. Many of the structures were previously used by the Yellow Jackets.
The concession stand shown in these 4 pictures, was brought down Bagley Rd. from Baldwin-Wallace College. It was cut in half and loaded on a flat bed trailer owned by Mr. Dave Louis. It has since been replaced but was erected on the present concession stand site.
Here are pictures of when the light poles and lights were first installed.
Booster Club President, Len Mixon along with Superintendent Dr. Donald Cobb, Bob Barr, and Garry Geist, turn on the lights for the first time.
You can't have a football field without Goal Posts!
The footers for the stands are poured and in place for the home side.
The home stands were the former visitor stands at B-W. They were torn down, hauled to our school, and rebuilt for our stadium..
Head Coach, Jay Hershey's wife, Marcia, helps to paint the stands with other booster club moms.
The original ticket booths also came from B-W and were repainted.
These pictures show the construction of our Pressbox. It is still the same structure used today for the coaches, announcers, and press.
The Bulldogs lit up this scoreboard many times.
Here are some of the Boosters assembling the original scoreboard. It has been replaced, but the original support system is still used.

The sideline benches are still being used when the Bulldogs take the field. They were constructed by Industrial Arts teacher Mr. Scott Philo with the help of Steve Mickey, Bob Barr, and Head Coach Jay Hershey.
In this picture, Mr. Paul Hechko, puts the finishing touches on the concession stand flooring.

The "Olmsted Falls Land Grab" was a major fund raiser by the Boosters to help pay for the field. The field was sectioned off into plots and were bought by the residents of the community. Many people still have "deeds" showing ownership of their section of the field. Plots were sold for $10, $5, $2, or $.50 at the "Landgrab" office (refreshment stand).

The "Hike for Lights" and the "Trot for Track" also were Boosters fund raisers developed to purchase lights for the stadium and install an "all-weather" track. To the left, you can see some of the awards given to the participants who stand "ready to go" in the picture to the right.
